-ReD ReD-

I saw this stall selling red 'SEXY' men's underwear on Hong Kong's Fa Yuen St!!!! HKD 5 each. The words on it are 'Fatt' 'Fook' 'Yeng'. Meaning Riches, Prosperity, and Win. SOOOOOoooo Funny! I just had to take a picture of it for the Blog. Was gonna buy it for some guy friends (hahhaa...Adriana, I wanted to get it for Alex but scared that you'll hang me on the ceiling). I guess the guy holding the underwear in the picture must be considering in buying one...maybe wear it when he plays Mah Jong during CNY! We Chinese are So WEIRD...we'd do anything to win money.

Back to Uni

Can't believe I'm back in Uni... Spent the whole afternoon looking down my groupmate's mouth, checking out her multicoloured braces...These kids do not have any fillings! I was so ashamed to tell them that I've had 3 root canals done, 2 crowns. I will load real pics of their mouths (yummmmy) when I find my SD card reader/cable. In the mean time, I found this picture on the net and I think its really funny...hehhee....

Curry Time

Yep..Back in Melbourne. Back to the old times....having to SUFFER...think of what to eat next. Cooking at home saves more money...and hopefully its healthier! hehhee...

This is authentic Thai Red Curry. Got the curry paste from Volcan (the closest u can get to achieving Ying Thai standard). All u need is to heat the paste in a little oil until fragrant (pls check if your nose is working). Then add preferred meat, then coconut milk, vegies....fish sauce....some lemon grass...and some basil leave/lime leaves!!!! oh and sugar if it gets too salty. VOILA....THAI CURRY.... SA WAI DI KAAAAAAAAAAAA/crap

And as a side dish, I stir fried some eggs with good old chives..and also a bowl of salad with citrus fruit dressing. WOoo Yummy.... Go Cherry tomatoes!!!!!!

Kuih Kuih (malay for cake)

I will load more interesting pics of Hongkie streets...can't seem to find Joe's camera even though its pretty big! Those who attended my graduation should remember the size of it!

In the mean time, let me introduce you to this handsome looking thing. Its BBQed fragrant glutinous rice wrapped in banana leaves (baby shrimp, chicken...etc in its filling). Its a typical Malay 'patisserie'. hehhee.. I love it. The other square white stuff is some sort of jello... should be made with cococut milk if my tongue is correct.

Feeling fruity and flowery

Time for Star fruit. I am so sure we can't get it in Australia. Soo sweet...hmmmm SUGAR..toothache...

Took some pics from Mum's garden....yeah we planted mini pansies?? I dunno how to spell it. Pretty cute huh? I've actually tried EATING bigger pansies on salad....They're rather tasteless. Hmm but i felt like a cow while eating it. The other flower is hydrangea????
